James Ferrari - Filmmaker, Artist, and Technology Investor
James Ferrari is an artist, filmmaker, media executive, technology investor, and social entrepreneur whose work spans entertainment, visual art, emerging technology, real estate, and civic engagement. As director of Ferrari Media and founder and ceo of Citizen007media, James Ferrari develops, produces, and funds media projects that address social and cultural issues. His recent and pending projects include A Mouthful of Air, The Dream Revisited, The Anchor, and a documentary about Harry Belafonte. He also works with big data and artificial intelligence and invests in technology ventures that explore collective intelligence and new approaches to communication.
Since 2009, Mr. Ferrari has served as creative director of Tribal Truth Media, where he collaborates with artists, musicians, photojournalists, and social activists from different cultural backgrounds. His responsibilities include identifying creative partnerships, interviewing featured individuals, organizing events, and promoting artistic work through digital platforms.
Mr. Ferrari studied political science at Hunter College and has participated in organizations and initiatives connected to foreign policy, technology, criminal justice reform, grassroots politics, and social entrepreneurship. His broader interests include filmmaking, documentary production, painting, photography, theatre, philanthropy, international affairs, and real estate development, including his company’s involvement with developments such as 21 and 22 Chelsea.
